Renaissance Unveils the First AI Solution in Its Suite for Independent Agents

Chicago-based agency network Renaissance has launched a new set of artificial intelligence tools designed exclusively for independent insurance agents. The suite aims to make agents’ daily work easier by cutting down on repetitive tasks and helping them find new ways to grow.

Independent agents often face tough challenges, and Renaissance sees AI as a natural fit to help them work smarter. Tess Mintzer, the company’s chief product officer, said the AI tools are made to boost efficiency, open up opportunities, and improve profits in a fast-changing market.

The first tool rolling out is called Quote Compare. It speeds up the process of comparing insurance quotes for personal and commercial policies. Instead of spending hours digging through lengthy PDFs or Word files, agents can get side-by-side summaries of key details in just minutes. This makes it easier to spot differences and share clear info with clients.

The company promises that Quote Compare is only the start. They plan to keep adding smarter tools that help agents save time, serve customers better, and grow their businesses.

According to a 2024 industry study, three out of four independent property and casualty agencies saw revenue rise last year. Still, almost two-thirds say improving operational efficiency remains their biggest challenge. Renaissance sees this as a sign that specially built AI tools are needed to cut down manual work and give agents more time to focus on growth.

Renaissance’s AI tools stand out because they’re built by experts who understand the insurance world, making them easy to use right away—no training or setup required. They also prioritize privacy by removing personal data from inputs and outputs. Plus, they come at no extra charge for agencies with Renaissance’s All-Access membership.

By offering AI made just for independent agents, Renaissance hopes to help them keep up in a busy market without adding any hassle. The aim is clear: help agents work faster, smarter, and grow their business without extra costs or complicated tech.
