Aon plc and AXIS Capital Holdings have announced notable leadership appointments as both firms look to strengthen their positions in the reinsurance market.
Aon has named Anshuman Srivastava as its new Reinsurance Global Chief Broking Officer. Based in London, Srivastava will report directly to George Attard, the global head of strategy for Reinsurance. With extensive experience at Aon, including senior leadership roles and participation on the Global ReSpecialty executive management committee, Srivastava has been a key player in driving the company’s growth and broking strategies in reinsurance. In his new role, he will focus on working closely with reinsurers to develop scalable, forward-looking products. Srivastava will help connect Aon’s clients with the right trading partners, aiming for the best placement outcomes and offering unique capacity options. He will also use data and global insights to create innovative capital solutions that support clients’ profitable growth.
Meanwhile, AXIS Capital Holdings, based in Bermuda, has appointed Hannah Hosking as head of Distribution for Global Markets. Hosking recently joined AXIS from AXA XL, where she served as head of Mid-Market, and she has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. She will be based in London and report to Edward Ashby, AXIS’s chief commercial officer. Hosking will work alongside key leaders in the Global Markets team, including Sara Farrup, to strengthen strategic distribution partnerships. Her previous roles at AXA XL and Chubb, where she led distribution efforts in the UK and Ireland, bring valuable expertise as AXIS aims to enhance its position as a leading specialty carrier.
