Plymouth Rock Assurance and Alliant Insurance Services have both announced new key hires to strengthen their teams in the Northeast.
James Foxx has joined Plymouth Rock Assurance, based in Boston, as the chief of agency marketing for Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He takes charge of recruiting, developing, and supporting independent insurance agents in those states. Foxx brings over 25 years of experience to the role. Before coming to Plymouth Rock in September 2025, he held leadership positions at Utica National and The Hanover Insurance Group, mostly focused on underwriting and sales in commercial lines.
Meanwhile, Alliant Insurance Services, headquartered in Irvine, California, has appointed Rob Fast as an executive vice president for its employee benefits group. Fast will be based in Portland, Maine. He has a broad background that includes product development, portfolio management, and reinsurance treaty structuring. His recent roles include leadership at Gallagher Re, Willis Re, and SurePoint Advisors, mainly focusing on life, accident, and health reinsurance.
Both companies are strengthening their presence and expertise in the insurance market by bringing in seasoned professionals who understand their regions well. Foxx and Fast’s extensive experience is expected to help boost agency growth and service quality in these areas.
