Renaissance, a Chicago-based agency network, has expanded its footprint by acquiring the agency network business of Insurance Services of the West LLC, known as Insurance Agency Network (IAN), in Washington. IAN is made up of more than 70 members and represents around $400 million in premium.
This latest acquisition marks the fifth agency network that Renaissance has brought under its umbrella since the start of 2023. With this deal, Renaissance grows its presence across 12 more states, broadening its reach significantly.
IAN operates as a membership organization, which means it brings together a group of insurance agents and brokers who collaborate under one network. By joining forces with Renaissance, they gain access to more resources and support.
The move shows Renaissance’s ongoing strategy to build a larger, more connected network of agencies across the country. It also highlights how insurance companies are working to join forces, aiming to serve customers better by combining their strengths and expanding their coverage.
Overall, this acquisition is another step for Renaissance as it continues to grow beyond its Chicago base, reaching more markets and adding more agents to its platform. For IAN members, it could mean new opportunities in marketing, technology, and service as part of a bigger team.
