Two independent agencies from Arkansas, The River Company and Rogers Insurance, have announced a merger to form a new entity called ANKR. This new company will become one of the largest insurance and payroll firms in the state.
ANKR will employ around 80 professionals across Arkansas and Texas. The company will operate under the ANKR brand, with plans for a complete integration by January 1, 2026. The River Company has been growing steadily for the past ten years, having completed five acquisitions and expanded its services to include payroll and tax solutions. Rogers Insurance, on the other hand, has a long history, being a century-old firm with locations in both central and northwest Arkansas.
The name ANKR, pronounced like "anchor," symbolizes strength and stability, reflecting the company’s commitment to being a reliable partner for its clients. Over the next few months, clients will start to see the new ANKR branding on signs, bills, and other materials.
In addition to the merger, Westan Insurance Group from Junction, Texas, which has partnered with The River Company, will also join ANKR. This move will enhance ANKR’s presence and capabilities in Texas.
