Allstate Corp. has announced that Andréa Carter will take on the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer starting May 12, 2025. Based in Northbrook, Illinois, Allstate is looking to Carter to help shape its strategy for building a strong and connected workforce.
Tom Wilson, the Chair, President, and CEO of Allstate, expressed confidence in Carter’s abilities, highlighting her experience in developing talent and fostering innovation within organizations. He noted that the company relies on its employees to provide the protection customers trust, and Carter’s leadership will enhance this mission.
Carter brings nearly 30 years of experience in human resources. Before joining Allstate, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Global Payments Inc., where she was responsible for the company’s global human capital strategy and employee engagement. Her career also includes leadership positions at notable organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Ralph Lauren, Newell Rubbermaid, and The Home Depot.
In addition to her professional achievements, Carter is active in her community, serving on the board of Churchill Downs Inc. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Tennessee State University.
Carter’s appointment reflects Allstate’s commitment to attracting and retaining top talent as it continues to adapt and grow in a competitive landscape.
