Oakbridge Appoints Ledyard as Chief Operating Officer; Hub Recruits Nashville Advisors

Oakbridge Insurance, a prominent agency based in the Atlanta area, has appointed John Ledyard as its new chief operating officer and executive vice president. This announcement comes as Oakbridge continues its rapid growth in the Southeast, having acquired over 40 agencies since it was founded in 2020.

Ledyard brings valuable experience to his new role. He previously spent nearly a year at Higginbotham, a well-known insurance brokerage in Texas, where he held leadership positions. At Oakbridge, he will focus on improving the company’s structure, enhancing client services, and supporting ongoing expansion efforts.

In other news from the insurance industry, Hub International, a major insurance broker with a wide presence in North America, has welcomed two new financial advisors, Steven Glasgow and Jordan Sibler, both from Nashville. They will join Hub Mid-South and bring their existing client bases with them.

Additionally, in North Carolina, Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey has appointed David Yetter as the new deputy commissioner and chief actuary. Yetter has been with the Department of Insurance since 2018 and has over 25 years of experience in both government and private sectors. He replaces Rick Kohan, who retired earlier this month.

These developments highlight the ongoing changes and growth within the insurance sector, as companies adapt and expand to meet the needs of their clients.
