CRC Group Purchases Risk Transfer Partners in Texas

CRC Group, a leading wholesale specialty insurance distributor in North America, has recently acquired Risk Transfer Partners (RTP), a brokerage focused on casualty insurance. This move is aimed at boosting CRC’s services and expanding its presence, especially in key areas like construction, energy, environmental, and manufacturing.

RTP, which started in 2013 and is based in Dallas, Texas, has built a strong reputation and a national reach. The company has shown consistent growth since its inception. With this acquisition, RTP will continue to operate under its current leadership, including President Dave Barrett. They will now be part of CRC’s Specialty division and will report to Brent Tredway, the President of Brokerage at CRC.

The acquisition was supported by financial advisors from Houlihan Lokey, while legal advice for RTP came from Troutman Pepper Locke LLP. CRC Group received legal counsel from Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP.

This acquisition positions CRC Group to enhance its offerings and better serve clients in the evolving insurance market.
