Coterie Insurance, based in Appleton, Wisconsin, has added two new leaders to its team: Mike Albert as chief technology officer and Allan Egbert as chief platform officer. Both bring years of experience and a history of working closely together.
Albert and Egbert co-founded Ask Kodiak, a company they started before it was bought by Applied Systems in 2021. Since early 2025, they have been advising Coterie. Their background includes leading product strategy at AgencyPort and starting Insurtech Boston, a group focused on innovation in insurance technology.
At Coterie, Albert will focus on improving the company’s technology, engineering, and innovation plans. Egbert will oversee the platform side, including operations, infrastructure, and performance.
This new leadership team aims to strengthen Coterie’s technology and platform, helping the company grow in the insurance industry. Their long partnership and experience give them a strong foundation to support Coterie’s goals.
