The gala raised an impressive $1.2 million, marking the fourth consecutive year that the Southeast Division has surpassed the $1 million mark for charity at this annual event.
The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) hosted this gala to celebrate the insurance industry’s commitment to giving back to the community. Beckmann received the award for her outstanding contributions to philanthropy, both within her company and the wider community. She is recognized for her ethical leadership and compassion, which guide her philanthropic efforts. In addition to her role at AmRisc, Beckmann serves on the IICF Houston Chapter Board and is involved with the Msomi Academy for Girls in Kenya.
Expressing her gratitude for the award, Beckmann highlighted the importance of IICF’s work in serving communities and making a collective impact. The proceeds from the gala will support various nonprofit partners focused on children at risk, education, disaster relief, and military veterans. Since its inception in 2012, the IICF Southeast Division has awarded $9.5 million in grants to over 310 nonprofits in the region.
This year, the gala will fund 27 community grants to local nonprofits throughout Texas and the Southeast. Additionally, the IICF Southeast plans to expand its reach with a new Florida Chapter based in Tampa.
Dan Kennedy, Chair of the IICF Southeast Division Board, expressed pride in the continued success of the gala, emphasizing the insurance industry’s generosity and commitment to helping those in need.
