Personnel Changes: Carpenter Appoints Aon’s Goodman as Chief Client & Growth Officer in Newly Established Role; Aon Elevates Anderson to Head of Professional Services

Guy Carpenter and Aon have both announced significant leadership changes. Jeremy Goodman is joining Guy Carpenter as their new chief client and growth officer, while Aon has promoted Tom Anderson to head of Professional Services at their Global Broking Centre in London.

Goodman brings nearly 40 years of experience in the reinsurance industry. He comes from Aon, where he most recently served as global growth leader and chief broking officer since May 2024. At Guy Carpenter, which is the reinsurance arm of Marsh McLennan, Goodman will lead client engagement and growth efforts from New York. He will report directly to Dean Klisura, the company’s president and CEO, and will be part of the executive team. In this new role, Goodman’s job will be to work closely with regional and specialty teams to better serve clients and develop Guy Carpenter’s services worldwide.

On the other hand, Tom Anderson has taken on a new role at Aon as head of Professional Services. Anderson started with Aon in 2023 to lead their Design and Construction Professional Indemnity team within the Global Broking Centre. Now based in London, he’ll oversee strategy, operations, and client service for professional services broking. John Brosnan, head of Aon’s Financial & Professional Services Group, expressed confidence in Anderson’s skills, saying this move supports Aon’s goals to enhance broking services and invest in the future of risk and human capital.

Both appointments highlight how these two brokers are adjusting their leadership to better meet client needs and strengthen their positions in the reinsurance and insurance brokerage markets. With Goodman’s deep expertise and Anderson’s hands-on experience, both companies seem poised to improve their client offerings and growth strategies going forward.
