Eric Judd has joined AXA XL’s energy underwriting team in New York as an executive underwriter. Bringing over 30 years of experience in insurance and energy, Judd will contribute to the company’s efforts in the Americas market.
Before joining AXA XL, Judd held senior underwriting positions at Zurich North America, Liberty International Underwriters, and Starr Insurance. He also worked as a broker at Aon earlier in his career. Judd’s career began as a field engineer with IRI, giving him a solid foundation in the energy sector.
AXA XL, based in Stamford, Connecticut, is strengthening its energy team with Judd’s appointment. His broad background across underwriting and brokering roles is expected to enhance the company’s expertise in this specialized field.
