Personnel Update: Lockton Elevates Rapciewicz and Cullen to Head US Casualty Division

Lockton has announced some new leadership moves in its U.S. casualty team. Peter Rapciewicz is stepping in as the leader for the entire U.S. casualty business, while Jessica Cullen will take charge of excess casualty and operations.

Rapciewicz will lead the way in shaping and growing Lockton’s casualty services across the country. He reports directly to Devin Beresheim, the head of U.S. risk solutions at Lockton. Meanwhile, Cullen will focus on strengthening the company’s excess liability offerings and supporting its growth. She will report to Rapciewicz in her new role.

Both leaders bring a lot of experience. Rapciewicz, with over 20 years in insurance, has spent more than ten years in leadership roles at Lockton. Before this promotion, he led the Alternative Risk Solutions team, growing the business and creating innovative options like parametric insurance and captive consulting for clients around the world.

Cullen joined Lockton in 2024 and previously led the U.S. casualty practice in London. She has about 20 years of experience in the industry and most recently worked as managing director of the casualty practice at Gallagher. Both executives are based in New York.

These appointments come at a time when Lockton is aiming to expand its casualty services. With these two seasoned leaders now in place, the firm is set to continue building its offerings and supporting clients across many industries.
