Personnel Update: NFP Appoints Ryan to Head Complex Risk Operations in Central and Western Regions

NFP, an Aon company known for its work in property and casualty insurance, wealth management, and retirement planning, has named Tom Ryan as the managing director of Complex Risk for the Central and West regions. Ryan will be based near Chicago and will report to Sean Hickey, senior vice president of Complex Risk at NFP.

In his new role, Ryan will collaborate closely with Amanda Ruback and Brian Bonnell, who lead the property and casualty teams for NFP’s Central and West areas. Ryan brings more than 20 years of experience in risk management, offering strategic advice and practical solutions to clients.

Before joining NFP, Ryan held key positions at Gallagher, where he was regional vice president and Casualty Practice leader for the Midwest and Great Lakes region. He also spent over ten years at Lockton, finishing as vice president and unit manager. His background in these roles gives him a strong foundation to lead NFP’s Complex Risk business in the central and western United States.
