Personnel Updates: BMS Names Wilson Director of Canadian Retail Division; WTW Elevates Cousins to Head of London Market Claims

BMS and Willis have both announced new leadership appointments that will shape their operations in Canada and London.

Cory Wilson has been named director of BMS’s Canadian Retail division. Wilson starts his new role immediately and will work under Dan Reid, the managing director of BMS Canada. He brings five years of experience from Halpenny, where he was vice president, along with time spent at Aon and QBE. In this position, Wilson will focus on strengthening existing client relationships and developing new ones, while guiding the growth of BMS’s retail business in Canada.

Meanwhile, Willis, a part of Willis Towers Watson (WTW), has promoted Adrian Cousins to lead its London Market Claims team. Cousins will take charge of important parts of Willis’s global claims work, working closely with insurers, reinsurers, adjusters, and law firms in the London market. He will report to Neil Harrison, the global head of Claims. Harrison highlighted Cousins’s track record of delivering strong results for Willis clients and said he is excited about his expanded responsibilities. Cousins will also keep his current job as head of Claims for FINEX (financial and professional lines) across Great Britain, Western Europe, and internationally, reporting to Jeremy Wall, global head of FINEX.

These moves show both companies’ commitment to strengthening their leadership roles in key markets and enhancing service for their clients.
