Construction Insurance Services (CIS), a managing general agent based in Dallas, has announced changes to its leadership team. This news comes as the company continues to strengthen its focus on the construction industry across all 50 states. CIS is part of the Curley Financial Group, which is also headquartered in Dallas.
Hector Gardea, Jr. has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Underwriting. Gardea brings over 20 years of experience in underwriting and client management to his new role. Before joining CIS, he worked in client services at Marsh. In his new position, Gardea will lead the underwriting team and collaborate with brokers nationwide.
Additionally, CIS has welcomed Brett Felder as Vice President of Construction Underwriting. Felder previously held a position at Marsh in client services and served as the risk manager for Riata Energy. At CIS, he will concentrate on underwriting for the scaffolding, crane, and steel erection sectors.
