Tropolis Insurance Services has expanded its footprint with the acquisition of eight agencies across Michigan, Texas, and Louisiana. The Ann Arbor-based brokerage, known for combining technology with insurance expertise, completed the deals recently, though financial details were not made public.
The agencies joining Tropolis come with strong local roots and industry knowledge. In Michigan, the new additions include Warrendale Insurance Agency in Livonia, U.P. Insurance Agency in Iron Mountain, Entrust Insurance and Financial Services in St. Clair Shores, and Canopy Insurance Group in Birmingham. Each brings a unique focus, from specialized property and casualty coverage to high-net-worth personal lines and large commercial accounts.
Texas sees Tropolis adding Infiniti Insurance Services in Spring and King Phillips Insurance in Houston. Both agencies have solid reputations for handling commercial insurance needs in their markets. Meanwhile, Louisiana’s Beasley Keith Insurance and Safe Harbor Insurance, both based in Bossier City, round out the list. Beasley Keith focuses on middle-market commercial clients, and Safe Harbor serves high-net-worth personal accounts throughout the state.
Jeff Mason, CEO of Tropolis, highlighted that these new agencies will operate under the Tropolis name and join its Employee Purpose Plan. This program offers team members equity participation in the company’s growth, giving them a stake in the future success of the business.
Tropolis aims to use its AI-driven Lead Nexus platform to boost client acquisition and deliver better service. With these acquisitions, the company strengthens its presence in key regions and expands its offerings in commercial lines and health insurance.
This move reflects Tropolis’ approach of combining local expertise with advanced technology to better serve clients and grow as a national player in the insurance brokerage space.
