World Insurance Associates LLC has announced its acquisition of Archambault Insurance Associates, a well-established insurance agency based in Putnam, Connecticut. This transaction took place in December, although the financial details have not been made public.
Archambault Insurance Associates has a rich history, having been founded in 1928 by Joseph A. Archambault. Now in its third generation of family ownership, the agency offers a wide range of insurance services, including personal, commercial, life, health, and surety insurance. It serves clients not just in Connecticut, but also in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
World Insurance Associates, headquartered in Iselin, New Jersey, has been rapidly expanding since its inception in 2011. The company has completed over 250 acquisitions and operates from more than 250 offices across the United States. It has earned notable rankings, including #15 among the Top 100 Property and Casualty Agencies and #19 among both the Top 50 Personal Lines and Top 50 Commercial Lines Agencies, according to Insurance Journal.
This acquisition is part of World Insurance’s ongoing strategy to grow its presence in the insurance market and enhance its service offerings to clients. The addition of Archambault Insurance Associates is expected to strengthen World Insurance’s capabilities in the region and provide more resources to its clients.
