NFP has brought David Roberts on board as senior vice president for surety in its Northeast region. Based in New Jersey, Roberts comes with more than 30 years of experience in commercial risk management. He spent the last two decades leading Liberty Mutual’s largest surety office in New York City as a senior underwriting manager. His deep knowledge of surety and strong connections in the construction industry are expected to be a great asset to NFP, which is headquartered in New York City.
At the same time, Falvey, a company based in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, has named Marc S. Blubaugh as its lead national coordinating counsel. Blubaugh is well known in the legal field, especially around transportation and logistics. He is a co-chair of the transportation and logistics practice group and vice chair of the litigation group at the law firm Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff LLP. He also serves as outside counsel to the Transportation Intermediaries Association and has led the Transportation Law Association as its president. He is recognized for his expertise in freight broker liability and the Federal Aviation Administration Authorization Act.
Both companies have added experienced professionals who bring strong backgrounds to their new roles. Roberts and Blubaugh’s appointments highlight a focus on specialized knowledge and leadership in their respective areas.
