Venbrook collaborates with C&F to introduce international travel medical insurance plans.

Venbrook Group has taken an exciting step by partnering with Crum & Forster to launch a new international travel insurance practice. This collaboration, announced on March 14, 2025, marks Venbrook’s first venture into direct-to-consumer travel insurance products.

Under this new agreement, Venbrook has introduced two travel medical plans specifically designed for non-U.S. citizens visiting the United States. The plans are named Venbrook Premier – Travel Medical URC and Venbrook Basic – Travel Medical URC, both of which focus on providing essential medical coverage.

Leading this new practice will be Curt Carlson as senior vice president and Eric Adair as vice president. Adair will report to Alison Myers, who is the executive vice president and head of retail benefits at Venbrook. Myers expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting the potential to create branded programs that cater to the needs of clients and their employees.

This expansion comes at a time when the U.S. travel insurance market is experiencing significant growth. In 2023, the market was valued at around $4.79 billion, and projections for 2024 suggest it could reach approximately $8.17 billion. This growth is driven by a surge in both international and domestic travel following the pandemic, leading to increased demand for travel insurance to cover potential risks like cancellations and medical emergencies.

Venbrook plans to roll out additional programs in the future, further expanding their offerings under this new managing general agent agreement. The use of advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence and big data analytics, is also enhancing the services provided by insurance companies, making them more personalized and efficient for customers.

With this new initiative, Venbrook is well-positioned to meet the growing needs of travelers while also contributing to the expanding travel insurance market in the U.S.
