Encova Insurance has announced the appointment of Ramu Lingala as its new executive vice president and chief information officer. Lingala takes over from Tony Laska, who plans to retire at the end of 2025. Laska will remain with the company in an advisory role until then.
Lingala joined Encova in February and brings with him 25 years of experience in information technology. Before this role, he served as vice president of business lines technology at Liberty Mutual, where he led significant IT projects and improved operational models.
In his new position, Lingala will oversee technology teams and work closely with various business units within Encova. His goal will be to align technology initiatives with the company’s overall strategy and ensure successful execution of projects.
This leadership change comes as Encova continues to adapt to the evolving insurance landscape, emphasizing the importance of technology in its operations. The company is based in Columbus, Ohio, and aims to strengthen its technological capabilities under Lingala’s guidance.
