Lockton has reappointed Jeff Miller as the national practice leader for its Stop Loss and Pharmacy teams. This move is part of Lockton’s People Solutions business. Miller returns to the company after holding leadership roles at Point6 Healthcare and Ryan Specialty Benefits. During his earlier time at Lockton, he oversaw multiple practice areas and was involved in key acquisitions. Tim Meacham, president of People Solutions at Lockton, emphasized that Miller’s experience will be vital in addressing the rising costs in healthcare and pharmaceuticals. Miller has also worked with companies like Aetna and BlueCross BlueShield of Oklahoma.
In another notable appointment, Protecdiv has named Tamika Puckett as the executive vice president and head of its public sector practice. Puckett joins from WTW, where she led the public sector division. She has also held senior risk management roles at Zoom and the City of Chicago. In her new position, Puckett will manage risk solutions for federal, state, and municipal clients. Protecdiv’s CEO, Kael Coleman, highlighted that Puckett’s diverse background will enhance the firm’s public sector offerings.
United Insurance Brokers Limited (UIBL) has appointed Sean Scales as an associate director in its marine division. Scales will concentrate on North American cargo and stock throughput, bringing valuable experience from his years with Lloyd’s brokers.
