Miller and Acrisure Re have made significant new appointments in their teams, signaling growth and strategic focus in the reinsurance sector.
Miller, an independent re/insurance broker based in London, has welcomed Vincent Foucart as the new managing director in its Reinsurance practice. Foucart joins Miller after a 16-year career at SCOR, where he held several senior roles, including CEO of P&C Solutions. With 25 years of experience in the industry, he is expected to play a key role in advancing Miller’s reinsurance strategy, particularly in Western Europe, which includes countries like France, Belgium, and Switzerland. His responsibilities will encompass business development across international treaty, specialty lines, and strategic advisory services. This appointment comes shortly after Miller’s acquisition of specialist reinsurance broker AHJ and other firms, highlighting the company’s commitment to expanding its international reach.
In a parallel move, Acrisure Re, part of the global fintech company Acrisure, has announced four senior appointments in its Corporate Advisory & Solutions division, known as ARCAS. Lauren Johnson returns to the London team as the head of Funds at Lloyd’s, aiming to enhance the division’s Lloyd’s FAL capabilities. She has a strong background in analytics and has previously worked at Securis Investment Partners.
Assad Negyal has been appointed as head of Pricing, bringing extensive experience from his previous roles at Starr Insurance and Chubb Europe. David Ryan, now the head of Exposure Management, has over 15 years of experience in this field, having previously worked at Talbot and Willis Re. Lastly, Lucas He joins as vice president of Retrospective Solutions, bringing a wealth of knowledge in mergers and acquisitions from his time at R&Q and Catalina.
These appointments reflect both firms’ ambitions to strengthen their market positions and enhance their service offerings in the reinsurance landscape.
