The 2025 list is based on a national survey conducted between July 14 and August 8. During this time, Insurance Business reached out to many readers and industry members across the country, asking them to nominate brokers and agents they trust. Participants then rated these nominees based on six important factors that measure how well they serve their clients.
To make it onto the list, nominees needed solid backing from those who nominated them along with an average rating of at least eight out of ten. The focus here wasn’t on the amount of business these brokers or agents do or how much revenue they bring in. Instead, the ranking looked closely at qualities like how accessible and responsive these professionals are, their technical know-how, and how reliable they are as regular contacts for their clients.
