TrustedChoice.com Renamed Momentum Edge After June Acquisition

Momentum, a Texas-based agency management platform, has acquired TrustedChoice.com and will now operate it under the new name, Momentum Edge. The acquisition took place in June and aims to bring together several insurance tools into one seamless platform.

Momentum Edge combines services like demand generation, referrals, customer relationship management (CRM), agency management systems (AMS), rating, automation, and analytics. This unified approach allows independent insurance agents to manage everything in one place, making their work simpler and more efficient.

Chip Bacciocco, CEO of Momentum Edge, explained that the platform builds on TrustedChoice.com’s 12 years of helping consumers find the right independent insurance agents. By joining Momentum AMP (formerly NowCerts), Momentum Edge can assist agents throughout the entire policy process — from attracting clients to renewing policies. Current users of TrustedChoice.com will not lose any features but will gain access to more consumer leads, better integrations, and increased control over their tools.

Momentum Edge is available as a stand-alone product, so independent agencies can continue to benefit from the digital visibility and high-quality referrals that TrustedChoice.com is known for. Michael Lebor, president of Momentum AMP, emphasized that agents want referrals that are fresh, relevant, and exclusive. Bringing TrustedChoice.com into Momentum AMP helps deliver this by connecting referrals directly into AMS and CRM systems, automating workflows, enriching data, and helping with rating and renewals all under one roof.

Besides Momentum Edge, the company will keep running the original TrustedChoice.com site and InsuredBetter.com, both designed to send consumer traffic straight to independent agents.

With this move, Momentum is aiming to make it easier for independent insurance agents to grow their business and better serve their customers by offering a complete set of tools in one platform.
