Missouri DCI to Deploy Consumer Specialists to Jefferson and St. Louis Counties

Consumer specialists from the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance (DCI) are stepping in to help residents affected by the recent severe storms in Jefferson and St. Louis Counties. They will be available at Multi-Agency Resource Centers (MARC) to answer questions about insurance and assist with the recovery process.

These MARCs serve as one-stop shops, bringing together various resources for communities hit by disasters. Residents who need help are encouraged to visit the MARC locations in Arnold and Florissant, Missouri. The centers will be open on March 31 and April 1 from noon to 7 p.m.

In Florissant, the James J. Eagan Civic Center will host the event at 1 James J. Eagan Drive. In Arnold, the City of Arnold Recreation Center at 1695 Missouri State Road will open its doors on March 31 from 1 to 7 p.m.

At these centers, DCI’s insurance specialists will assist residents in understanding their insurance policies and the claims process. They will also provide contact information for insurance companies, making it easier for residents to get the help they need.

This initiative is part of a broader effort by DCI and the State Emergency Management Agency to support those affected by the storms. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of these resources to aid in their recovery.
