Personnel Changes: SiriusPoint Elevates Fenn to Global Head of Marine; Arch Insurance International Advances Mansouri to UK PI Underwriting Manager.

SiriusPoint Ltd., a specialty insurer and reinsurer based in Bermuda, has announced the promotion of Chris Fenn to the position of global head of Marine. This move comes as part of the company’s effort to enhance its global marine operations. Fenn, who previously led the Marine team in London for SiriusPoint International, joined the company in February 2024 and has over 14 years of experience in the marine sector, including a significant tenure at Markel.

In his new role, Fenn will focus on expanding SiriusPoint’s offerings in several key areas, including cargo, fine art and specie, ports and terminals, and marine liability. His leadership is expected to drive growth in these segments as the company aims to strengthen its presence in the marine market.

Additionally, SiriusPoint has made two more strategic appointments to bolster its marine team. Anthony Grew will take on the role of head of Cargo starting July 21. He comes from Allied World, where he served as vice president of the Marine Division, bringing over 20 years of industry experience from companies like CNA Hardy and ACE Group. Grew will report directly to Fenn.

Giulia Argano will also join the company as a marine claims adjuster in May. With over 12 years of experience, she most recently worked at Capanna Marine S.r.l. as manager and controller. Argano will report to Hamish McBride, who heads the MGA and Program Claims team.

These appointments reflect SiriusPoint’s commitment to the marine sector and its ambition to grow its marine business globally. The company is focused on enhancing its service offerings and expertise to better serve its clients and partners.
