Alliant strengthens its Utah team by bringing on a new Vice President.

Alliant Insurance Services has made an important addition to its team by appointing Danny Reeder as a vice president in its employee benefits group. This announcement was made on April 4, 2025. Reeder will be based in Utah and comes with over 13 years of experience in strategic benefits consulting, self-funding, and cost management.

In his new role, Reeder will assist employers in understanding and managing employee benefits and healthcare. He aims to create cost-effective strategies that meet the needs of both the employees and the organization. His skills include negotiating with insurance carriers, designing self-funded plans, and developing customized solutions that align with company goals.

Kevin Overbey, president of Alliant Employee Benefits, expressed confidence in Reeder’s abilities, highlighting his extensive experience in consulting and market analysis. Overbey believes Reeder will be a valuable asset in helping clients enhance the effectiveness of their benefit programs.

Before joining Alliant, Reeder worked as a sales executive at a consulting firm in Utah. He also has experience in the health and wellness industry, having held leadership roles, including vice president of a health product distribution company and founding his own wellness brand. Reeder holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Westminster College.
